- Nantes, 165km and 1 hour 39 mins drive away. You can also catch a train from centre of Nanates to Saumur
If travelling from Paris by train:
The high speed trains to Angers St Laud and Tours Saint Pierre des Corps leave from Paris Montparnasse. You can change at both stations for trains to Saumur. You can also take trains to Angers and Tours from Gare Austerlitz Paris.
Driving in France is super easy and the autoroutes are the most convenient routes to use albeit they will have a cost, depending on your distanced travelled and which autoroutes taken.
